Assam Government Holiday List 2026: Official Calendar, Festivals & PDF
The Government of Assam has officially released the holiday calendar for the year 2026. The General Administration Department (GAD) has notified the complete list of Gazetted (Public) Holidays, Restricted Holidays (RH), and Half-Holidays for all state government offices, schools, and institutions.
For the year 2026, the Assam Government has declared a total of 35 Gazetted Holidays. Additionally, state employees are entitled to avail of 2 Restricted Holidays (RH) from a list of optional festivals.
